weekly gallery vol. 167

Next update will be 4 Mar due to my trip to the Maldives

White-rayed prawn-goby

The scientific name of this goby was described just last year.
It is " Stonogobiops yasha".
The meaning of " yasha" in Japanese is a kind of specter.
So,  "Yasha" is just like a Dracula in Japan !
The name of this goby was a parody of " Dracula partner-goby",
whose scientific name was  " Stonogobiops Dracula".
